Refund policy

Mount Surf Shop will happily accept returns on full-priced items within 7 days of purchase and purchased via the online store for an exchange, credit or refund. On the conditions:

  • The product/s MUST be in their original condition (new, unused, unworn, un-washed)
  • All garment tags must be still attached to the item this includes shoe boxes & swimwear hygiene seals.
  • Unfortunately, there will be no exchange or refund on sale items. 
  • Exchange can only be done once we receive the goods back and subject to availability. 

Communication is key, please make contact with us via the email address found on your packing slip before you send any returns back.

Items to be returned at the customer's cost. Returns will be processed within 2-3 working days of receiving returns. Exchanges are subject to availability and we recommend submitting your request for an exchange via email within 48 hours of receiving your item to arrange the exchange. Returns and exchanges received outside of the above timeframe will not be accepted and a Mount Surf Shop credit may be supplied, subject to assessment at our discretion.

At Mount Surf Shop, our in-store returns policy is different to our online returns policy. Please choose carefully in-store as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Items may be exchanged or returned as credit to use in-store at any of our 3 stores: 98 Maunganui Road, 41 Totara Street and Rip Curl Mount Maunganui ONLY, providing that the product(s) are in their original condition (new, unused, unworn, un-washed) and purchased in-store. 

Please be aware we are physical store(s) which means there is a possibility for someone to be purchasing an item in our store(s) at a similar time you are purchasing online. In the unlikely case, we will inform you as soon as possible and do our best to fulfil the order, exchange for another item or refund your full order. 

Please be aware the cancellation of an order before shipment will occur a service fee. This will be deducted from your order total refund.
